Young ADIPEC Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee serves as a strategic and consultative body that provides guidance, expertise, and support to ensure the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Young ADIPEC programme.

The Committee plays a key role in aligning the programme's objectives with the needs and interests of young people, while also ensuring adherence to best practices in youth development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Guidance

Offer insights into the long-term vision and goals of the programme, and helping in creating the content of our STEM & AI learning initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

Facilitate connections with relevant community partners, government bodies, and youth organizations to enhance collaboration and resource sharing.

A Judge in the Methane Abatement Challenge

Evaluate student projects based on creativity, scientific understanding, feasibility, environmental impact, and presentation quality. Ask thoughtful questions during their presentations and provide constructive feedback that encourages learning and improvement. Using a standardized rubric, you'll score each entry fairly and objectively, helping to recognize the most promising and impactful methane reduction solutions.

Programme Oversight

Review progress reports, assess outcomes, and recommend improvements to strengthen programme delivery and impact.

Youth Advocacy

Advocate for youth interests and inclusivity, ensuring that the programme remains youth-centered, diverse, and equitable.

Capacity Building

Support the development of young people through mentoring, internships opportunity and knowledge sharing through Youth Talks and workshops.

Risk Management & Ethics

Advise on ethical considerations, safety standards, and risk management practices in the delivery of youth progamme as per Ministry of Education and Abu Dhabi Education and Knowledge Department (ADEK) standards.
