School Connect

Throughout the academic year, our team will be hosting a series of hands-on STEM workshops across selected schools in the UAE, in collaboration with Khalifa University. These interactive sessions are designed to inspire and engage our community’s students, exploring exciting themes such as sustainability, innovation, and the future of technology.

Energy Transition

Throughout the academic year, our team will be hosting Energy Transition worshop, where students will come together to build a model hydrogen-powered car. This interactive session will not only spark creativity but also foster a deeper understanding of the potential of hydrogen technology. Participants will dive into the science behind hydrogen production using clean and renewable energy sources like wind and solar power. Through a simple demonstration with an electrolyzer, students will see firsthand how water can be split to generate hydrogen gas. They will also explore how fuel cells convert this hydrogen into electrical energy, powering everything from cars to homes and gadgets.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect theoretical learning with real-world applications, inspiring the next generation to envision and contribute to a sustainable energy future.

Tree Planting

Young ADIPEC organised a mangrove tree planting initiative for university students and Young ADIPEC Ambassadors. The initiative fostered culture (nationally famous plants), sustainability (greenry), collaboration, and empowered youth.

Participants learned more about the habitat of the mangroves and wildlife and learned how to properly plant trees in Jubail Island, the benefits of conserving and protecting the environment. This was an adventure that the entire group enjoyed together, that had a unique trail to explore, educational opportunities about nature and mangrove plants, and rest stops were provided throughout the day.
